"CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE" BRINGS FESTIVE SEASON TO LIFE AT MGM GRAND AT FOXWOODS

The man who brought delighted audiences the magical “Cirque Dreams Illumination” and “Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy” has done it again. Broadway director Neil Goldberg’s latest fantastical creation, “Cirque Dreams Holidaze,” hits the MGM Grand Theater stage from November 12 through 22. Tickets are $30 and $69 and are on sale now.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.mgmatfoxwoods.com, by calling the MGM Grand Box Office at 1-866-646-0609, by calling Ticketmaster, or in person at the MGM Grand Box Office. For more information, visit www.cirqueproductions.com.

As part of a charitable partnership between Foxwoods Resort Casino, MGM Grand at Foxwoods, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Center of southeastern Connecticut, people can receive a free ticket to the opening night performance of “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” on November 12.  This promotion can be redeemed by bringing a donation of five or more cans or other non-perishable food items to the MGM Grand Box Office starting Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 12 between 10am to 8pm. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Last year, the Food Center distributed more than 1.5 million pounds of food through 80 free food sites. The efforts helped provide meals and snacks, at no cost, to those in need throughout New London County.

Cirque Dreams’ newest production is set in a place where the ordinary turns extraordinary. Costumed character ornaments come to life with pageantry, music, and majesty, transforming holiday figurines into awe-inspiring aerialists, acrobats, musicians, and dancers as they dangle from a 24-foot tall dazzling holiday tree.

“Cirque Dreams Holidaze” follows in the spirit of “Cirque Dreams Illumination” and “Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy,” the only show of its kind ever to perform on Broadway. All are the brainchild of Broadway veteran Goldberg, who the Los Angeles Times called “one of today’s leading theatrical impresarios and circus mavens.”

An international cast of world-class acrobats, athletes, musicians, and artists bring the production to life, transforming imagination into reality. “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” will no doubt live up to the Cirque Dreams reputation for being “jaw dropping and family friendly,” as described by the Los Angeles Times, and “the grandest circus spectacle east of Las Vegas,” according to New York Magazine.

Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods feature world-class entertainment venues that host a variety of first-rate performers and shows, including: Stevie Wonder (October 22); David Copperfield’s An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion (October 23 and 24); Celebrity Chef Sundays (October 25, featuring Pat & Gina Neely); Laura Pausini World Tour (October 25); Van Morrison (October 28); Assi El Hellani and Shada Hassoun (October 31); Roger Daltrey (November 7); Jerry Seinfeld (November 20 and 21); and Wynonna (November 29); David Archuleta (December 17); “Hairspray” (December 29-January 3); and Larisa Dolina (January 23-24).
